    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

You will gain experience in all aspects of the day to day duties involved in providing administration support to the team. Alongside key administration duties you will learn how to print on vinyl heat press, assisting warehouse staff and also invoicing and credit control.

Duties within the role include:

  • General administration duties in a warehouse environment
  • Responding to enquires via email and telephone
  • Updating and maintaining the website
  • Taking deliveries
  • Stock control
  • Printing on to garments
  • Providing customer service
  • Invoicing and costing once trained

  • This apprenticeship is 1 day per week at the college term time only 9am - 5pm with the other days based at the work place

The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 18 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
