    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team of training consultants as a Product & Technology Training Specialist, working alongside our clients to develop and deliver unique, creative, innovative and fun training solutions. This position would be based in an apprenticeship style role with support and training to help this particular unique individual grow and learn more within the role. Some but not all responsibilities and tasks consist of:

  • Traveling within Europe and to our offices in the South West
  • Reviewing technical source documents and translating information into customer friendly feature / function / benefits
  • Making the complex documents simple, cool and aspirational
  • Researching, analysing, and comparing competitors and competitive technologies
  • Defining training structures, objectives and outputs
  • Development of detailed tutor notes, delegate workbooks and activity assets
  • Biefing and overseeing the production of materials
  • Working and liaising with the a team of staff members

Qualifications required

A progression to Level 4 and thereafter full time employment is available for the right applicant.

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18-year-old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship.
