What we look for in our Apprentices are individuals who are not afraid to roll their sleeves up and support the team to get things done.

Working as part of the Property Implementation team, who manage our store re-fit and new stores programme, you will support the Project Planning Manager in ensuring our cross functional category achieves its objectives. You will liaise with stake holders and provide effective and accurate administration of reports, data collation, suppliers and customer enquiries. You will also produce information for circulation to our team.
Your day to day role and responsibilities will include;
•    Handling customer telephone and email enquiries
•    Project documentation collation
•    Photo library updates
•    Financial data collation
•    Updating weekly department reports
•    Accommodation, travel and meeting bookings
•    General administration support

The role is based in our offices at our Northern Distribution Centre in South Elmsall, West Yorkshire.  

 You will work through a programme of learning with the support of the team and your assessor over a 12 month period, all done on site so no college days. You will get exposure to the workings of a busy office and be a crucial part of the property implementation team, ensuring all administrative tasks are carried out to a high standard.

On completion you will have;

•    A Business Admin Level 2 qualification 
•    Increased confidence communicating with people at all levels
•    Improved knowledge of the workings of a busy property implementation department
•    A professional approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Literacy and numeracy skills to enable you to complete a Business Administration Level 2 Apprenticeship
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Have a good level of IT knowledge to include Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Some experience of administration is desirable but not essential

Qualifications required

You qualify if... 

  • You have a minimum of Grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • You are NOT currently at college or 6th form and are available for full time hours
  • You HAVEN'T completed a Business Admin apprenticeship before
  • You DON'T already have a degree or completed a year or more at University
  • You are eligible to work in the UK
