We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our award winning Chef in our busy hotel kitchen.  We have a varied seasonal menu using only the best ingredients so every day is interesting and different.  If you have a passion for food and a creative flair we can offer you an amazing opportunity to grow and develop your skills with our friendly, hardworking team.  We are pleased to offer this opportunity under the NEW Commis Chef - Apprenticeship Standard.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the chef to prepare food
  • Cook food from scratch
  • Maintain high level of hygiene
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
  • Washing and drying kitchen utensils/pots
  • Ensuring their proper storage
  • Assisting in stocktaking and storage of stock
