Duties will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the curriculum team.
  • Attending meetings and producing accurate and timely minutes as required.
  • To support with the archiving of documents.
  • To undertake the daily collection and logging of post.
  • To answer the telephone, take messages and assist wherever possible.
  • To maintain manual and computerised systems including inputting data, keeping records, confidential and general filing systems as directed.
  • To provide reception cover as and when necessary including welcoming and providing refreshments for visitors.
  • To assist with the administration of learner attendance systems.

  • GCSE grade A*-C in Maths and English (or equivalent).

Things to consider

Please check the employer’s location and ensure you are able to get to and from work. From the 1st April 2017, the National Minimum Wage (NMW) for apprentices aged 16-18, and those aged over 19 who are in the first year of their Apprenticeship, is set at £3.50 per hour. The NMW applies to time working and time spent training as this is also part of the Apprenticeship. Anyone not covered by the age categories above will be entitled to the NMW appropriate to their age.
