You will learn about the business and will carry out customer focused tasks so will be comfortable with children and young people, providing assistance to our school photographer. You will need a DBS check and have a bubbly personality to engage quickly with people at all levels.

  • You would learn DSLR camera skills, studio lighting techniques and outdoor photography.
  • Art working using Photoshop and Lightroom software to edit and manipulate images.
  • Lab work, learning chemical wet printing, large format inkjet printing and software.
  • Other duties including answering email enquiries and phone calls and representing Snappers at our clients to ensure they have the best possible customer experience.
  • Frequent travel to schools and clients is expected therefore personal organisation and flexibility and your own ability to drive or provide personal transportation will be an advantage.
  • Applicants are expected to have a passion for photography.

Every effort will be made to continue employment after the apprenticeship has finished. All previous apprentices have taken up full time roles within the company.
