Berser International Cargo Services Ltd, are looking to recruit a Transport Administration Apprentice.

 The role will involve a two split shift system, 7am-1pm and 1pm-7pm, with the early shift involving mainly the administration tasks but also the physical stock checking of incoming goods, the physical warehousing duties preparing and loading goods ready for despatch.

Typical main duties will include:

  • Understanding and operation of the company bespoke software programmes
  • Booking goods in and out

All activities must be recorded quickly and accurately to satisfy the needs of the company, partners, but most of all to satisfy the needs of the clients chasing delivery progress. Physical stock checks will need to be made within the warehouse.

As secondary, the role will involve warehousing based duties such as:

  • Receiving goods
  • Checking for signs of damaged or missing products
  • Storing of goods either manually or eventually by handling vehicles be it hand or fork lift trucks
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Loading goods for despatch
