The candidate will be responsible for completion of transactional activity such as sales invoice creation, job & estimate approvals and also be responsible for training new staff on relevant aspects of finance systems. As a service based business, ensuring employees bill time and expenses correctly is key. 

Other tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Following up missing and held timesheets, ensuring 100% compliance across the agency
  • Ensuring starters are added and inducted onto the finance system in a prompt manner whilst also ensuring leavers have completed their final timesheets and expenses 
  • Working with the wider agency to answer queries and rectify issues related to systems and processes
  • Client invoicing – ensuring invoices are created quickly and accurately
  • Managing the opening and closing of jobs 
  • Be responsible for intercompany transfer of funds/costs and tracking the status of the requests
  • Maintain and update how-to-guides for internal finance processes
  • Organising finance related post which is delivered and redirecting to appropriate teams
  • Update monthly meeting sheets with latest data as and when required
  • Assist Commercial Accountants with any other ad hoc tasks

Qualifications required

Five GCSE's grade A* - C including English and Maths or equivalent.

Ongoing employment at this or another agency or progress onto a higher level qualification.
