Duties:

An Apprentice Developer will work with the development team, learning how to maintain and develop Assistive Partner’s software applications as well as becoming involved in ongoing customer support at a second line level.

The apprentice will be part of an agile team using a Scrum & Kanban process.  They will learn how to become responsible for managing individual sprint jobs, Source Control and learning new skills. 

  • Working on VB.Net Development with HTML.
  • Software testing and design.
  • SQL and databases.

Training to be Provided:

  • Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
  • Software Testing and Software Design
  • Unix Fundamentals
  • Event-driven Programming using Visual Basic.NET
  • Object-oriented Programming C#
  • SQL
  • Customer Support Provision
