The main purpose of the role will be to provide customers support with queries over the phone and online.

You will report directly to the Office Manager.

Main Duties and responsibilities would include:

  • Receiving inbound calls and online queries from members of the public regarding returns, exchanges, repairs and refunds
  • Managing returned products, testing and reboxing
  • Group existing items in the warehouse for resale or disposal
  • Attention to detail is paramount ensuring the orders are marked and dispatched in a timely manner as well as ensuring the correct courier service is used.
  • Updating stock levels for the organisation ensuring any discrepancies are reported
  • Administer quotes, estimates, invoices and other information as required
  • Managing customer information (in accordance with data protection act)
  • Managing customer feedback

  • Some prior knowledge or experience of working in a customer service environment is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written English)
  • Good numerical skills (for the preparation of quotes etc)

Qualifications required

A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Future prospects

A full-time position would be available for the right candidate on completion of the apprenticeship and subsequent progression to a further qualification

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18-year-old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
