Vacancy full description:

Fabulous opportunity to work & gain on the job training within a friendly established environment.

Training will be given in all areas of the practice, including systems & admin.

This will include self-employed client records, VAT returns & limited company accounts preparation.

  • Checking client records to bank statements
  • Reconciling income records to P60’s
  • Extracting information from client records
  • VAT reconciliation of client records
  • Preparation of profit & loss statements
  • Putting together client records for limited company account preparations
  • Preparing & submitting VAT returns
  • Royalty statement preparations

Pay:£200 per week

Qualifications required:

GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade D and above (3-9)

Progression to level 4, further responsibility & full-time employment for the right candidate.

Things to consider

Any important other information: The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is 3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are 5.60 an hour for 18-20-year olds and 7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training thats part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
