    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Working directly with our “prisons” expert this role is vital to the success in delivering one of our biggest contracts in the Lancashire region.

Whilst working with our experienced consultant (who has done all of this previously on his own) the administrator will be responsible for:

  • Organising candidate interviews.
  • Sending out relevant documents.
  • Checking peoples ID & references.
  • Processing timesheets.
  • Assisting with security clearance forms / requirements.

Training provider

  • Full training will be provided on an ongoing daily basis and when required. You will be working towards the Business Administration Level 2 apprenticeship.
  • An assessor will be allocated to you to progress/support you through you course and you will attend college every Friday. Time spent training will be part of the agreed contracted hours of the working week.
