The primary responsibility of the Resourcing Administrator is to assist the Profession and Performance Managers (PPMs) in the administration needed to ensure support of the professional services team (resource pool).

Key duties would include:

  • Report and share dashboard information on a weekly basis
  • Supporting with new starters and probationers
  • Supporting the administration and tracking of feedback and appraisals
  • Tracking of training forecasts and actuals
  • Supporting and following up ensuring CV updates
  • Daily liaison with PPMs to support activities and following up on actions
  • Introduce a governance process  for management and documentation of meetings and actions
  • Ensure all collateral used is up to date
  • Receive analyse and distribute monthly reports
  • Provide other admin support to be defined

Other duties would include:

  • Preparing reports
  • Using bespoke Software systems
  • Analysing data
  • Answering phone calls and emails with customer queries
  • Working as part of a large team
  • This will all be underpinned through formal training with a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship

Qualifications required

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above

Future prospects

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

Important Information QA’s apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Training provider

Approximately 3% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom.

17% is done in the workplace, through workplace units, face-to-face meetings with your QA Assessor, or developing your portfolio.

The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
