A good opportunity to join a friendly, professional business to develop your kitchen and cookery skills.

The position will involve:

  • Maintaining a clean working area
  • Ordering, taking delivery of stock and stock management
  • Preparing fresh, locally sourced ingredients  and making a range of elements of and dishes from the menu
  • Food hygiene management
  • General kitchen support for the kitchen team
  • Developing your cooking skills and knowledge

Future prospects

It is anticipated that upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship, and assuming good performance, that a permanent position will be available. Also the opportunity to progress on to further qualifications.

Things to consider

You will be working in a busy environment and standing on your feet for most of the day/shift. The applicants will need to have reliable access to transport for the late shifts and or live locally to Lindfield/Haywards Heath.
