Main duties

  • Admin duties to include using the telephone, email and other forms of communication with agencies Fiscalo works with and their employees.
  • General clerical duties for the Head Office teams as a whole.
  • Undertaking compliance checks with employment agencies.
  • Talking to prospective employees and signing them up to join Fiscalo Umbrella Company.
  • Calculating employee';s pay and raising invoices to Employment agencies.
  • Ensuring information is continuously up to date.
  • Ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time and that The Umbrella Company processes payments and any chargeable expenses and deducts the necessary tax and NI contributions. Payslips are then issued on time and correct.
  • You will learn how to use accountancy software and submit information to HMRC.
  • Assistance with the preparation of VAT returns for first review
  • Other ad-hoc assistance to accounting team members as required
  • Potential to be supported through AAT accounting qualification if desired and upon demonstration of potential

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

About the employer

Fiscalo umbrella company processes timesheets received from the employee/contractor, then issues an invoice to the client for payment. Fiscalo umbrella provides payroll on behalf of the contractor and bills the agency for work completed by the contractor. The umbrella company provides all social contribution and tax payments and equivalents and National Insurance returns on behalf of the contractor.

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is 3.40 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
