Reporting to the HR Advisor, you will provide an effective, proactive and professional service to the business and will be trained up and qualify in a Business and Administration NVQ Level 3 qualification.

There will be a college assessor come out to support you in the work place to achieve your qualification. To excel in this role you will be passionate and enthusiastic, ideally with A-levels or a BTEC qualification already.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • This L3 Business Admin apprenticeship will blend on-the-job experience and in-company training with periodic 2-day block-release study at a QA training centre.
  • You’ll be working as a part of a busy HR team, to carry out all relevant and necessary administration processes efficiently and effectively to our customers, whilst providing outstanding customer service standards
  • Provide written correspondence to employees for contractual changes and payroll notifications
  • Ensuring HR database is kept up to date
  • Departmental security when dealing with sensitive data
  • To work alongside HR Administrators to provide day to day operational delivery to the business
  • Provide first level administrative support to customers
  • Completing all new starter checks as appropriate ensuring that we are compliant
  • Coordination and management of the Disclosure baring service (DBS) and our health check provider
  • Support to the resourcing team in the recruitment process
  • Supporting Learning & Development where required

Qualifications required

  • Good education standard ideally
  • A-levels, BTEC (or equvalent) qualification is desirable but not essential.
