Purpose of the post:          

You will be assisting in the design and development of the Content Management System to enable all staff to manage content.


  • To assist with research, design, implementation and maintenance of the Trust’s websites.
  • Use development knowledge to make administrative processes more efficient and effective through creative use of information technology resources.
  • Think of innovative technological solutions to improve the websites across the Trust.
  • Liaise with staff regarding website/intranet issues.
  • Uploading and developing documents for staff on the websites ensuring high standard of material published.
  • To develop, test, release and document applications using best software engineering practices to ensure timely service delivery and ease of maintenance.
  • To provide time and resource estimates to assist in the planning of projects.
  • To develop tools and methodologies to improve the effectiveness of the development process.
  • Keep abreast of new web technologies. Research and use (where appropriate) new web technologies and languages.
  • To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time as commensurate with the grading of the post.

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training. It is essential that the post holder has: • Resilience and ability to work to tight deadlines. • Readiness to develop and apply skills. • A willingness to undertake appropriate training. • Awareness and sensitivity with regard to equal opportunities and race equality. • An ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.
