  • Alongside the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager be responsible for managing the customer meal experience.
  • Responsible for greeting and seating customers.
  • Responsible for keeping up to date and communicating food and drink menu knowledge with the team.
  • Responsible for communicating any service or customer issues immediately to the restaurant manager and resolving the issue(s).
  • Responsible for ensuring customer feedback is received during service.
  • Responsible for ensuring customers are aware of venue promotions.
  • Alongside the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager be responsible for managing bookings and enquiries.
  • Responsible for communicating menus and recording details accurately in the lead up to a group booking.
  • Responsible for ensuring deposits are taken for all group bookings.
  • Responsible for attaining feedback from group bookings.
  • Supervise the good order and management of the front of house areas.
  • Comply with daily and weekly checklists are completed.
  • Ensure restaurant and bar areas are maintained in a clean and clutter free state.
  • Alongside the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager be responsible for effective communication through the venue.
  • Ensure any customer food allergies or requests are actioned.
  • Communicate service and booking information to the kitchen.
  • Communicate customer feedback to the kitchen.
  • Communicate menu shortages and daily specials to the Front of House team.

Please note that anyone under the age of 18 will only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours on advert will be amended accordingly to fall in line with the legislation. Please note if the successful applicant is found prior to the closing date the vacancy maybe withdrawn early. This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employers address. Depending on your training you will only need to attend college in Nottingham for initial assessments, enrolment and a few other rare occasions.
