This Office and shop administrator apprentice allows varied roles to be achieved, the business focuses on providing the best service within the area. You will have the opportunity to work and learn within a fast paced office environment and dealing with customers on a day to day basis if there is any issues.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship

We like to help our clients manage their free time in today’s busy world and realise that everyone has their own personal requirements that are unique. Our hope is to work with our clients to recognise what they want from a housekeeper and to enhance their cleaning experience. We are therefore now looking to recruit an office and shop administrator apprentice.
As the office and shop administrator apprentice, you will be responsible for all admin within our fast paced office in Stalybridge. Your tasks will include;
- Answering the phone and taking messages.
- Helping customers with enquiries.
- Supporting colleagues with tasks.
- Liaising with customers if there is a problem while a cleaner is at a property i.e alarms.
- Looking after petty cash.
- Filing and scanning.
- Sending out letters and emails.
- Sending welcome packs out to new customers.
- Booking in cleaning/dry-cleaning bookings.
- Support in the shop when busy.
- And any other administrative tasks.
Skills will be developed throughout the apprenticeship and you will have the opportunity to progress within the business as well as getting a Business and Administration Level 2 qualification. The business is an ideal location and widely accessible from the city centre through public transport!
