This role will involve setting up of client payments, liaising with clients to ensure payments go to the correct place, ensuring funds are settled into our accounts by clients on time, assisting the front office team with any administrative tasks and maintaining our internal system to ensure that all of the above is recorded in the correct fashion. An excellent education in a back/middle office function in the financial sector.

Long periods in front of screen, pressurised deadlines (payments for example have to go out by specific cut off times), sometimes dealing with irate clients

Not paid for lunch breaks.

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.30 per hour from the 1st October 2015. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
