This position is based in the reception area of Richmond Medical Centre the candidate will report to the Reception Manager and will work with six other members of the reception team, they will also help support administratively the GP's and nurses. The position is varied including:

  • Data input onto excel
  • Using the clinical system to generate prescriptions
  • Assisting with reports
  • Telephoning chemists
  • Dealing with patient queries
  • Scanning hospital letters onto the clinical system
  • Filing, typing, photocopying, and stock taking as an example
  • The candidate will also undertake project work on behalf of the Practice Manager ie quarterly Newsletters, help with flu clinics.

This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship.
