We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice to join our busy branch. After full training your role will include:

  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Ordering new products
  • General administration tasks such as filing/photocopying/ managing post
  • Inputting data - Assisting with Sales and Operational admin tasks (producing purchase orders etc.) 
  • Answering phones
  • Filing/photocopying
  • Additional responsibilities as industry knowledge grows

Things to consider

Please ensure you give as much detail as possible with your application and check your commute time/method. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.   • Functional Skills

The vocational and academic training aspects are separated and delivered by separate teams. The vocational training and assessment is conducted, more often than not, on site according to the employers wishes. Notice of dates is agreed well in advance of a site visit. Training and assessment is conducted both on and off the job, according to the needs of the course and the learner. Every effort is made to ensure the best result is achieved by the learner.
