Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
GAP Hire Solutions, the UKs leading independent equipment hirer are recruiting Apprentice Hire and Sales Coordinators on a 12 months fixed term contract. Your role will be based in Croydon, where you will learn to deliver excellent customer service. You will receive ongoing support and development that will equip you with the skills and knowledge required for a successful career with GAP Hire Solutions If you are a successful candidate for this position, you will be trained to provide a positive and efficient service to the customer. Apprentice Hire and Sales Coordinators are the first point of contact for customers and the role will be to ensure customer requirements are met and all relevant paperwork in relation to hiring out equipment is completed.
Some of your duties might be to:
- talk to a huge array of customers
- find the best service for the needs of the customer
- update the internal computer systems
- carry out general administrations duties
- store relevant paperwork securely
This is just an overview of the potential duties the role may include.
Your training will be provided by learndirect Apprenticeships, one of the largest training organisations in the UK. They help train over 20,000 apprentices each year.
Requirements and prospects
You will need good communication skills, and good computer abilities with the ability to work in a team environment. It is useful for you to have knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word.
If you are polite, presentable and an articulate individual then you are exactly who we are looking for as you will be talking with clients. You should also be able to work to a schedule.
GCSE English and Maths at grade C plus (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
