A dynamic Company located in Witney requires an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice to assist in a busy and friendly environment to strengthen our customer service function. You will be dealing with customers and suppliers primarily over the phone.

You will receive the training and support to succeed in your role as well as unrivalled career paths.

Duties to Include:

  • Answering incoming calls.
  • Processing calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Replying to customer enquiries both on the phone and via email.
  • Fixing problems with guidance from other support staff.
  • Any other duties as required by the manager/supervisor.

The ideal candidate should be well organised and enthusiastic, with an excellent telephone manner. They will have an appreciation of first class teamwork and also be customer focused along with strong organisational and people skills.

Training to be provided:

  • At level 2 City & Guilds Diploma In Customer Service Practitioner
  • Level 1 / 2 Functional Skills in Math,  English
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
  • End Point Assessment

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

The ideal candidate should have basic IT skills and have an excellent telephone manner.

Personal qualities

Needs to have a positive and hardworking attitude with the willingness to progress

Qualifications required

GCSE grade C or above in Maths & English desired but not essential.

Future prospects

The firm is regulated by the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA), and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Progression to a professional qualification in Property Management is available.

Training provider

You will have on the job training within the organisation, and have an assigned Assessor who will provide you with additional training sessions and assessments to gain the Customer Service Practitioner Qualification. You will have an e-portfolio to work through and gather evidence during your role as a Customer Service Practitioner.

The qualification will include:-

  • Knowing your customer

  • Meeting the regulations and legislation
  • System and resources
  • Your role and responsibility
  • Customer Experience
  • Product and Service Knowledge

You will also be required to pass:-

  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1/2
  • Functional Skills English Level 1/2

If you have not already achieved a GSCE Grade C or equivalent in the above Functional Skills qualifications.

This qualification is assessed at the end point and is broken down into apprentice showcase, professional discussion and observation.
