Due to CWRT’s substantial growth and an increase in demands, the purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to Loans, Finance & Business Support Teams, including providing high quality inputs to the loans management process, assisting in the provision of financial and risk information, database and record management, customer facing services, outreach, workshop coordination and all aspects of administrative duties.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

The Apprentice will support the day to day operations of the company by assisting in:

  • Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks (photocopying, sending emails, filing, message-taking, sorting & distributing post, etc)

  • To maintain manual and computerised systems including inputting data, keeping records, statistics, updating databases, confidential and general filing systems as directed

  • Preparing and communicating financial data

  • Seeking outcome and output data particularly in relation to the creation of new jobs

  • Preparing of marketing materials, outreach activities and attending showcasing events

  • Updating the web site and social media interfaces

  • Assist with handling of incoming and general enquiries

  • To take part in meetings, supervision, training as requested by the manager

  • Undertaking any other reasonable duties requested by Officers and Managers

  • You will learn to anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise

Other Responsibilities/Notes:

The Apprentice will:

  • be ready for any other administrative tasks that are required

  • develop an understanding of all CWRT’s policies and procedures (including Money Laundering, Health and Safety, and Treating Customers Fairly), complying with their contents and raising concerns in a timely manner

  • be aware of confidential issues

  • contribute to the overall ethos, work & aims of CWRT

  • Throughout this role, you will gain extensive knowledge and experience within the working environment which will set you up for a great career upon completion. This will hopefully lead to permanent employment within the business administrative sector or even continue to the next level, undertaking further training.


  • Reports to the HR Manager and indirectly at times to other Managers

  • The position has no direct reports
