    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

By applying for this role you are expressing your interest in the administration sector and you will be based in the Legal Administration Team of a leading West Yorkshire solicitors. Every department is fully staffed with a team of partners, solicitors, trainee solicitors and paralegals, all of whom take pride in providing accredited standards of customer care. Today they offer a variety of legal services, specialising in: personal injury, industrial disease, employment law, stress related claims, accidents at work and in public and debt recovery. As highly respected Leeds solicitors we provide our legal services to both individuals and businesses, often under a no win no fee basis.

Key Objectives:

  • Carrying out data input
  • Setting up new client files
  • General adhoc administration duties
  • Covering a busy switchboard by directing the calls through to the correct person / department after gaining as much information from the caller.
  • Processing internal and external post carefully to ensure Data Protection is adhered to
  • Covering reception to be the face of the company
  • Making sure client’s and visitors sign in for Health and Safety
  • Offering them a drink to make their visit to the office as comfortable as possible

As above plus any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role.
