Vacancy Description:

The Commis chef will ensure guest satisfaction by assisting chefs with the preparation of food items, which consistently and effectively reflect Nobu standards.  The Commis Chef will assist in the preparation of food and ensure stations are well maintained. 

  • Provide guests with the highest quality of food preparation
  • Ensure that all designated stations are correctly set up and operating to high standards.
  • Preparing food items ensuring full adherence to Nobu recipes and standards
  • Minimising food waste by correctly storing unused food
  • Guaranteeing food safety, hygiene and sanitation practices are present at all times
  • Maintaining all stations equipment In a safe working condition

Qualifications required

• GCSE English and Maths grades A-D (or equivalent)

On completion of level 2 intermediate apprenticeship you may be able to progress to level 3 advanced apprenticeship.

Things to consider

• Remember this is a physical role! • You will be working in a hot and busy kitchen • Also, you will work a rota which may require you to work weekends and evenings, Split shifts will be worked so expect long busy
