The Care Home Apprentice is part of the caring team and as such works with other staff to care for the Service Users in the Home.
The work can be physically and mentally demanding, and the person appointed to the post will be expected to have an understanding of and sympathy with elderly people.

Daily Duties Include;

  • Administration duties such as; creating personal profiles for residents, dealing with telephone and email enquiries and keeping diaries and arranging appointments
  • Promoting the Company Mission Statement at all times
  • Having an understanding for the Health and Social care act 2008
  • Plan and participate in framework of social activities which include Service User's hobbies and interests
  • Help with the serving and supervision of meals and feeding Service Users where necessary
  • Assist in the delivery of End of Life Care.
  • Assist with the care and safe keeping of Service Users' clothing, personal property and property belonging to the Home.
