This role will offer the suitable applicant an opportunity to gain valued experience and knowledge working for a succesful  local business.  Working with and for local and national small Ltd Companies and private clients. You will need to have a proactive and committed attitude and a desire to succeed.

  • Reception duties – answering calls, meeting and greeting clients and visitors and ensuring their visit is successful
  • Administration work to support the day to day processes within the office
  • Dealing with client enquiries
  • Updating clients on progress
  • Deraling with life insurance products
  • Opening and distributing the post
  • Database Management and Database entry
  • Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationary and equipment
  • Writing reports for senior management, which may include reports on finances, staff performance, service development or an annual review
  • Attending conferences and external training

Please note all applicants will be required to attend a pre-entry interview with PETA before an application can be progressed. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Wage for apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training. Please be aware that this rate changes every year on 1 October and reference should be made to for further information.

Training provider

Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training.  The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.
