To provide effective technical and administrative activities which will support and enhance the service being provided by the Quality team.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
Running order reports and placing purchase orders with suppliers.
Inputting confirmation dates from suppliers in purchase orders.
Deal with queries from suppliers in regards to drawings, prices, etc.
Expedite orders with suppliers.
Forward on customs clearances when received.
Run and action SAP exception reports (MD06).
Convert purchase orders to consignment orders when invoices received.
Assist with stock check of ball consignment stocks.
Raise rejections on suppliers.
Raise machine shop routes.
Create new materials in SAP
- Carry out scrap analysis and reporting weekly/monthly.
- Undertake the customer returns administration which will include receipt notification, delivery and reporting weekly.
- Assist in the general administration of the management system documentation (QEMS).
- Perform data entry for concession details, generate reports from data base.
- Process QE 43 change request details and follow up to completion
- Daily collection and distribution of post.
Requirements and prospects
Ability to work as part of a team. Positive attitude and keen to learn. The job holder will require sound communication and organisational skills as well as a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

About the employer
All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship may consist of the following components; NVQ Diploma, Technical Cert, Functional Skills Maths and English, Employee Rights and Responsibilities, and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. All components will be agreed upon before the start of the apprenticeship.
