Air conditioning apprentice working at customer sites across London.

Your role will include:

  • Installing air conditioning systems
  • Repairing air conditioning systems
  • Servicing air conditioning systems
  • Vaccing systems, removing air and moisture from the system
  • Brazing copper pipework
  • Elements of electrical installation

We primarily work in high end residential sites together with small shops and offices. We require intelligent, forward-thinking individuals with an eye for detail. Living close to Central London (10mile radius of Westminster) is essential and we provide travelcards to enable you to attend sites throughout London.

You will be working with a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience. During term times you will need to attend college one day a week to obtain the necessary skills and qualifications required. In addition you will receive on-the-job training and will attend not only health and safety and also manufacturers’ training courses.

Pay, depending on age, starts at £5.95 per hour Monday to Friday completing 40 hours per week with start times varying from 7.30am to 9am on-site with up to 45 minutes of paid travel time included in your working day. You are entitled to 28 days holiday per annum including Bank Holidays. Overtime rate is time and a half and various bonuses are available.

Qualifications required

5 GCSE's (or equivalent) at A*-C including Mathematics and English.
