You will learn about the business and will carry out customer focused tasks such as processing returns, answering email enquiries and phone calls. There will also be a degree of general admin including storing and retrieving information from existing filing system. As you progress, you will be able to manage your calls and contribute to more day to day tasks including booking shipments with couriers and liaising with postal carriers.

Every effort will be made to continue employment after the apprenticeship has finished. All previous apprentices have taken up full time roles within the company.

Things to consider

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
