    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Between the hours of 8.30am & 6.15pm – Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 2.30pm – Friday (1 hour lunch).

    Total hours per week: 38.50

An Office Apprentice is required for this well established and professional insolvency company in the centre of Stockport. The Business Administration Apprentice will have a varied workload and no two days will be the same. The office is a very friendly and fast paced environment and the right candidate will definitely grow within the role.

A Normal Day Would Include…

  • Obtaining information from customers over the telephone
  • Checking documentation is correct
  • Inputting information onto the company CRM system
  • Sending links to customers via email
  • Opening mail
  • Attending meetings and minute taking
  • Greeting clients
  • Ordering stationery
  • Filing
  • Printing
  • General Office Admin as required to help the business
