  • Assist in producing goods with a consistent quality using company specifications and instructions in the specified time frame.
  • Treat and process raw materials and ingredients (flour, oil, sugar, butter etc.).
  • Prepare different dough and mixtures according to production recipes under baker's supervision.
  • Pack and prepare products for dispatch.
  • Manage spoilage, monitor inventory levels and manage the re-ordering process effectively.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance with respect to food hygiene.
  • Keep work areas and equipment clean, tidy and safe and meet all associated health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Maintain the brands growing reputation of exceptional quality standards.
  • Assist with promotions and strategies to generate growth in sales.
  • Assist with product development.

Things to consider

Weekend work will be required. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour . This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
