The role will include the following duties: 

  • Maintain service records on the in house "business management system". 
  • Undertake monthly extract of service jobs.
  • Ensure purchase orders are issued for all company purchases and jobs issued to other contractors / companies for work to be undertaken. 
  • To ensure office equipment is working correctly and report any issues.
  • Return faulty materials / equipment. 
  • Recieving and checking of stock in, and filing of delivery notes. 
  • To create new jobs and ensure that the engineers are notified. 
  • Answer incoming telephone calls.
  • Create new sites and customers. 
  • Ensure new products are recorded in the company product list.
  • Order of company stationary.
  • To recieve new enquiries and update the in house "business management system". 
  • To undertake filing of company records. 
  • To create and issue quotations as instructed.
  • Check engineers log sheets and ensure correct supporting paperwork is recieved. 
  • Update customers portals.

Things to consider

Own form of transport would be preferable, the successful candidate must be able to get to office location. The office has an dog called Daisy, therefore, the candidate will need to be comfortable with animals.

About the employer

We are a customer focused fire alarmcompany who must respond quickly quickly to our customers' requirements. We have a large customer base dealing with schools, housing association, commercial and industrial clients. We design, service, maintain and install fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers and auto fire suppression together with a range of associated systems. Prestige is based in a converted barn office building on a working farm. There are five members of office staff and a team of five engineers. The successful candidate must have a confident telephone manner, be methodical, well organised and enjoy working as part of a team .
