  • Taking telephone orders and enquiries
  • Processing online orders using the company’s website ordering system
  • Fabrication of products to customer specification
  • Use of various types of fabrication machine
  • Preparation of various company products for despatch to all branches
  • Carrying out admin procedures
  • Carrying out daily warehouse housekeeping
  • Observing company health and safety procedures

Stock control:-

  • Check new stock as it arrives.
  • Add stock to stock control system where appropriate
  • Take note of stock levels and inform Fabrication Manager if replacements needed.
  • Keep the stock shelves and storage cupboards tidy
  • Check stock levels as orders are picked.
  • Advise management if stock is low or product not in stock

Health and Safety:-

  • Tidy the working area frequently to limit the potential for accidents 
  • Ensuring all staff are working in an environment that is safe as possible with due regard to the type of processes in progress.
  • Making sure all equipment provided is kept in good working order and condition.
  • Reporting any injuries caused for whatever reason.
  • Ensuring any injuries are recorded in the company Accident Book.
  • Removing any faulty equipment and ask for a repair or for it to be disposed of.
  • Making sure to pick up anything from the floor that has the potential to cause an accident.
