    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

We have an excellent job opportunity with a leading Estate Agent who deal with predominantly Lettings, and are committed to delivering a quality personnel service to clients and tenants.  The role involves working within a friendly team undertaking a variety of administrative tasks. 

This is an ideal opportunity for those who like to undertake a variety of tasks and can multi-task with ease. You will be expected to turn your hand to various jobs whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times.  The successful applicant will work in a busy vibrant office, learning not only general administrative/office skills as well as gaining an excellent insight into the sector.

DUTIES:

  • Working with customers to maintain a professional and positive image at all times
  • Use a telephone system for incoming and outgoing calls and taking accurate messages
  • IT – Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook are essential
  • Accurate emails
  • Providing support of general admin duties
  • Compiling and checking documents
  • Filing and maintaining internal documents
  • Store and retrieve information
  • Scanning documents
  • Typing duties
  • Any other duties required

 

PERSONAL SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills and strong telephone voice and is essential
  • Quick and keen to learn with ambition to do well
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
