We are currently looking to recruit an apprentice Business Administrator/Receptionist based at our operation in Colwick. We are looking for someone to operate front of house within a busy commercial workshop/rental office, supporting our partners and colleagues both over the telephone and face to face.

Tasks you will be fully trained to do include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors and clients
  • Answering calls, providing information, dealing with queries
  • Handling internal and external mail
  • Liaising with our rental department in Loughborough
  • Scanning and receiving rental documentation
  • Receipting deliveries (both physically and administratively) for our workshop 
  • Updating our vehicle compliancy database 
  • Raising job cards, orders, invoicing and filing

Things to consider

You will be working in a commercial environment which someone with a shy demeanour may find a little intimidating. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
