    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Business Administration Apprentice is required to join our expanding team at Care Staffing, a recruitment business for nursing and caring staff industry.

Duties will include:
•Internal and External calls to clients
•Vetting Applications and arranging interviews
•Arranging DBS clearance and checking references
•Inputting data on to the computer
• Outbound calls to new customers promoting the business services
 •Photocopying and Scanning
• Meet and greet clients
• Arranging face to face visits
• General Admin tasks

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Business Administration Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship.

This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

  • Outstanding communicator with a confident telephone manner
  • Willingness and ability to listen, learn and understand something completely new
  • Good judge of character that is able to build strong working relationships with clients
  • Self-starter that can work equally effectively as part of a close team and by themselves
  • Must be competent using IT systems
  • No previous experience is required as we will provide full training.

Personal qualities

To be successful in this role you will need to have good communication skills.

You will need an outgoing personality and smart appearance, be reliable & punctual.

Qualifications required

Basic English, Maths and IT skills.
