    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

We are offering a very exciting opportunity for a bright young individual to join us here and learn the art of classic car restoration and general car body repair and paint.

You will be working on a wide range of cars right from early 1900's up to brand new cars. Focusing on the paint skill and qualification but also learning all the other aspects of the trade form welding to panel beating, you will learn all you need to know to be able to do a job from start to finish which is invaluable in this trade. Quick pay rises and progression for the right candidate.

You will be primarily focusing on the qualification and skills to become a Paint Sprayer, however when working in a small company with a small team you will need the skills to do most aspects of bodywork from stripping and fitting to welding. You will be on an apprenticeship scheme and working 4 days with us and 1 day at college.

The skills and knowledge you gain at both site will help you to gain the qualification for Paint Spraying Recognised within the industry. We are a very friendly team and welcome enthusiastic people that are reliable honest and hard working. 20 days holiday per year. Some overtime.
