This is an opportunity for an apprentice to learn the skills and knowledge in order to eventually become a qualified Quality Engineer.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Contributing and compiling documentation associated with customer production part approval process (PPAP).
  • Process flows
  • FMEA
  • Control Plans
  • Dimensional reports & capability study
  • Measurements - understanding of customer drawings and geometric tolerancing
  • Co-ordinate measuring machine programming and measurement.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Previous Engineering apprenticeship would be advantageous
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Good written and verbal communications

Personal qualities

  • Punctual and reliable
  • Willing to commit to this apprenticeship training

Qualifications required

Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship would be advantageous

GCSE grades A-C in English Language, Maths, ICT and Science.

Future prospects

To be developed into fully qualified Quality Engineer.

Things to consider

Training will include three days per week at In-Comm Training Services, Aldridge, WS9 8UG. Please ensure you are able to travel there as well as to the company.
