  • To answer incoming telephone calls from customers.
  • Make outgoing calls to customers when necessary (i.e update them on the status of their order).
  • To always maintain the highest level of courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism.
  • Making the calls personal, using yours and their drivers name etc. Always ring back customers as arranged.
  • Follow the order inputting process, confirming details such as delivery date and time slot, products ordered, final totals and value. 
  • Manage the calls to your NEW categories of customers, ensuring they understand and enjoy our service and products. Therefore helping them to become regular long term customers.
  • Ring back customers received via Messages Alerts, E-mail, Web, Post and Drivers, confirming details and looking for any sales opportunities.
  • To assist with incoming stock deliveries if required and if phones allow.

Things to consider

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
