Facts International Ltd is one of the UK’s foremost market research companies specialising in a full range of research services direct to major UK and international clients. Facts International is based in Ashford, Kent and is part of the Chime Insight & Engagement Division of Chime Communications Ltd.

The Specification Writing team supports the wider business in delivering their research projects. We are looking for an apprentice to be trained in survey scripting, data processing and data analysis.

After joining their highly experienced team, you will be trained in the use of Confirmit Horizons, a market-leading Market Research platform used to deliver telephone, online and face-to-face (via tablet) surveys. You will use Confirmit to script surveys ready for fieldwork, and also create and manipulate data and tabulations for our project management team, supporting them in delivering for our clients.

You will spend one day a week at Canterbury College and the other four days will be spent in the office.The apprenticeship is for the duration of 12 months.

Spec Writer Responsibilities:

  • To program scripts for data capture across all methodologies e.g CATI,CAPI,PAPI,WEB and MCAPI
  • To thoroughly test jobs for logic, routing etc prior to going live.
  • To prepare and load sample into CATI and WEB jobs.
  • To analyse data collected into cross tabulations to client specification.
  • To provide clean data to clients in various formats such as ASCII, SPSS, QUANTUM, SSS, EXCE
