Duties to include

  • Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries
  • Processing outgoing post
  • Use of a diary system – to book in measures and fitting of blinds
  • Use of email, filing  /scanning and photocopying documents
  • Preparation of quotes and typing letters
  • Data entry
  • Will eventually progress onto invoicing
  • Assisting customers face to face within the showroom and dealing with their queries
  • Placing orders
  • Taking deposits
  • Completing sales order forms.

Future prospects

A1 blinds would like someone to join their team, there will be some customer facing and a lot of customer contact via the phone. Progression and full time work opportunities will be offered to the right person.

Things to consider

May be required to work occasional Saturday mornings on a rota system (will be given time off during the week)
