Are you interested in the design and manufacturing of bespoke one off components?
Apprentice CNC machinist will be responsible for setting tools and proving out jobs on a haas machining centre.
The duties also to include:

  • De-burring and bead blasting.
  • The role will include quality inspection, working to fine limits, attention to detail and working within a team.
  • Dowse engineering work with a range of high performance machinery.
  • You will be working with the most advanced 5-Axis and CNC engineering machinery from market leaders such as DMG, & Matsuura.
  • You will be working in manufacturing precise products for sectors such as motorsport, aerospace, medical, defence and telecoms

Qualifications required

You will need a minimum of four GCSEs at grades A*-D or 9-4 including English, maths and science or a technical subject such as engineering or product design. Alternatively you can progress from a relevant Level 2 Intermediate apprenticeship programme.
