Duties Include (but not limited too):

  • Contacting school by telephone to offer introductory sessions.
  • Contacting customers by phone to invite them to our live events and training.
  • Liaising over the phone with our franchisees to discuss contracts.
  • Maintaining a diary/calendar of follow up activities required.
  • Providing support during events.
  • Providing customer support over the phone and booking in client appointments and consultations.
  • Keeping client files up to date.
  • Creating and following up invoices.
  • Sending postal and e-mail marketing to target clients.
  • Assembling marketing materials.
  • Managing post, franking and filing.
  • Responding to e-mail enquiries using our customer management system.
  • Maintaining our websites (wordpress) and social media accounts by uploading pre-generated content and responding to interaction.

Qualifications required

  •  GCSE or equivalent grades A-C in Maths & English - preferred but not essential

Future prospects

There is great further training opportunities with bonuses for the right person but you will have to immerse yourself fully into the role to get to grips with it first. There will be weekly reporting required in which you will be expected to demonstrate the impact that your skills are contributing. You must take feedback well as there is a lot to learn and you must be ready to adapt quickly and remain positive under pressure.

Things to consider

You will be working directly with the company director and as such you need to feel confident and within yourself, able to communicate with ease and comfortable in taking direction and feedback. You will be based at our office in Hemel Hempstead. You need to be punctual and reliable. To fulfil this role you must be confident and articulate and you need to have a positive, outgoing and cheerful personality. You will be responsible for overseeing the business operations when the line manager is absent and as such you will need to be mature, sensible and trustworthy. Our average customer value is £2500 so you must conduct yourself with the appropriate business acumen and have a thorough knowledge of our company. There are 3 companies that you will be promoting so you need to be prepared to learn and remember a great deal of detail.

  • If successful you will have the opportunity to achieve an Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 in Sales Administration delivered at the workplace.
