To begin with you will start by learning the products and getting to know the warehouse and how the company works.

Working as a new apprentice, you will be out on the road with more experience employees to begin with to learn how to perform a variety of tasks related to the account management of our FAST (Fastenal Automated Supply Technology) Vending Solutions program for a set of territory specific clients. This position will report directly to the General Manager at the Nottingham Branch.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position may eventually include, but are not limited to:

  • Presenting Fastenal Vending Solutions to current customers
  • Assisting with optimising existing customer machines
  • Making joint sales calls with Fastenal branch employees
  • Consulting customers on best practices for cost savings
  • Maintaining products within the Vending machines
  • Cleaning, testing and troubleshooting vending machines and lockers
  • Pulling product from inventory while maintaining its accuracy and shipping to branches
  • Working with and assisting all other team members whenever necessary
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Deal with enquiries and provide updates for clients

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.

Qualifications required

  • GCSE Grades A to C or equivalent are essential, specifically Maths and English, 2017 grading system, grade 9 – grade 4
