This company is currently seeking an apprentice to develop and support a small friendly busy team. The ideal candidate must be confident on the phone, have suitable IT skills and have the ability to communicate well within the team. Strong administration skills are essential to support the business. This company pride themselves on delivering a very high standard of customer service and above all are looking for an enthusiastic individual with good attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate willingness to learn and broaden responsibilities to progress further. As Administrator you will need strong interpersonal skills, be proactive and enthusiastic team player.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES:

  • Communicating over the telephone dealing customers and service engineers
  • Promptly and accurately dealing with Incoming and outgoing calls
  • Provide personalised customer service of the highest level
  • IT – Knowledge of Microsoft package outlook, excel, word etc.
  • Use electronic message systems
  • Reception Duties, meeting and greeting visitors
  • Transferring calls to the correct person or take accurate messages
  • Word Processing
  • Inputting data into spreadsheets
  • Organise and report data
  • Postal and Stationery Duties
  • Filing and maintaining internal documents
  • Store and retrieve information
  • Scanning document
  • Any other duties as required

Progression on to level 3 after completion of level 2 and after completion of all qualifications a fantastic opportunity for a full time job with the company for the right person.

Things to consider

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
