You will be joining a small team consisting of engineers and sales people.

You will be trained to carry out servicing, installation, testing and repairs on major brands of commercial catering equipment including:

  • Dishwashers.
  • Fryers.
  • Mixers.

You'll be expected to pitch in when needed; this could involve moving equipment around the shop, taking deliveries, occasional shop sales and end of day tasks such as tidying up the work area.

Training provider

You will achieve an Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering.  This will include:

  • Advanced Manufacturing Foundation Competence - 1 day a week in College Year 1.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Engineering and Technologies - 1 day a week in College Years 2 & 3.
  • Level 3 NVQ in Engineering Maintenance - Years 2 & 3 in workplace.
  • Industrial Maintenance course - 2 weeks at the end of year 2.
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English.
