This role requires a candidate with LOTS of personal drive and ambition. It is a challenging yet highly rewarding role working in the prestigious Innovation Centre in Longbridge with a team of 8 friendly professionals on a number of exciting projects across the region.

The team is dynamic and passionate about the work they do, and are looking for someone who can come in, roll their sleeves up and really get stuck in! You will be assisting senior managers, Engineers and Technicians in the production of all technical documentation to include the production of detailed drawings. You will also produce and maintain document and drawing registers in line with departmental procedures. You will also assist in the office and perform general office duties as deemed necessary. You will undertake supervised site visits to view construction of designed schemes and use CAD and other computerised design systems on a daily basis.

You will get involved in the design and planning of developments large and small. The process starts with planned layouts and concludes with the production of drawings and the provision of advice to their build teams.

You will be joining a company that takes staff development really seriously - many of the experienced senior members of staff came through the ranks as trainees and Apprentices, so this is a rare opportunity. Things to consider

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
